Our approach

Sense the water. Advise the farmer. Act only with approval.

Four components, one loop. Here is how they fit together.

How the KhawTECH system closes the loopA sensor in the paddy reports the water level over LoRaWAN to the NaLog platform. NaLog Agent suggests when to irrigate. The farmer approves or declines. Only then does the solar pump re-flood the paddy.approval required1PaddyWater level risesand falls2AWD sensorReads the level in anIRRI field tube3LoRaWAN gatewayLow-power radio linkfrom field to internet4NaLog platformStores readings andtracks the AWD phase5NaLog AgentSuggests when toirrigate, in Thai6FarmerApproves or declinesevery pump action7Solar pumpRe-floods the paddyto about +5 cmFieldHardwareSoftwareFarmer decision

The loop

  1. Paddy. Under AWD the water level rises after irrigation and falls as the field dries.
  2. Sensor. A sensor in a perforated IRRI field tube measures the level, including below the soil surface.
  3. Gateway. A LoRaWAN radio link carries readings from the field to the internet.
  4. NaLog. Our platform stores readings and tracks each paddy’s phase in the AWD cycle.
  5. NaLog Agent. An AI assistant explains the situation in Thai and proposes when to irrigate.
  6. Farmer. The farmer approves or declines. Nothing happens without that approval.
  7. Solar pump. On approval, a LoRaWAN command switches the solar pump to re-flood the paddy.

“We combine field-level water sensors, a Thai-speaking AI assistant with per-farm memory, and solar-powered pump control into one system. The integration, and the commitment to farmer approval for every action, is what’s new.”
